Every day Arjun gives the tree water. Small green mangoes come.

Summer comes. The mangoes grow big and yellow. Plop! One falls.

Plop! Plop! Plop! Now there are mangoes everywhere: on the cot, in the bucket, in Papa’s slipper!

Arjun eats and eats. Mango juice runs down to his elbows.
